WOOD AND STRUCTURES

The wood is precious chestnut of Etna, cut on the slopes of the volcano and seasoned with periods ranging from four years to over ten years, depending on the type of product to be produced. Despite its processing is more tiring and difficult, the choice falls on Etna chestnut as it boasts rare qualities of strength, durability and beauty in the grain, compared to those from other regions of Sicily or other types of wood. We try, however, to satisfy any request.

The Leonardo Patané carpentry, located in Mascali (Catania), Immacolate street No. 97, works by four generations in Sicily in the wood supply and production, strictly handmade wooden roofs, trusses, attic rooms, gazebos, platforms, stairs, doors, fixtures, furniture and decor. Our goal is to carefully select the raw materials and produce works using ancient techniques (which are handed down from father to son), enriched with experience and professionalism to obtain valuable results that guarantee durability and weather resistance.

We then select the trunks again and start producing tailor-made axes for the works to be carried out. Transported to the installation site, are professionally assembled one by one, according to ancient building techniques, able to withstand any atmospheric stress and aggression.
